Open University of West Africa (OUWA) is a learning community based in Ghana that provides support services for online education in West Africa. OUWA plays a significant role in aiding online education to penetrate the West African market. Historically this has been by acting as a last-mile delivery system for MOOCs. OUWA has recently entered into a collaboration with University of the People to provide similar support for their degrees. We are the first step in a three part development model; educate, incubate, and invest. The other two components of this model are carried out in collaboration with Hub Accra, SliceBiz, and many other partners.
